Cleo Berry is an actor and filmmaker drawn to bold, dramatic storytelling; both in front of and behind the camera. Raised in Little Rock, Arkansas, he moved to New York City to pursue his craft, developing a range that blends physical comedy with deeply layered characters.
He has recurred or guest starred on series including House M.D. (Fox), School of Rock (Disney), Idiotsitter (Comedy Central), and Dad Stop Embarrassing Me (Netflix), and appeared in indie films such as The Sand, American Nightmares, and Love Is All You Need? He’s also been featured in national campaigns for Tide, Pampers, and Best Buy. In 2026, he starred as Max in the thriller Long Time Listener, which premiered on AMC’s ALLBLK to strong reviews.
Cleo is the host and executive producer of  the talk show/video podcast, The Moment with Cleo Berry. There he interviews leading voices across the entertainment industry. After a decade in Hollywood acting, testing for series regulars and reading TONS of scripts; he transitioned into filmmaking—writing, directing and starring in his debut short film, JARED, premiering Summer 2026.
His work centers on layered Black stories, LGBTQ+ narratives and creating delicious roles for plus-size actors. Cleo trained at The University of My Life and The American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York City.
